Cults of Lee's Summit

Starting this Sunday, July 11th, I will begin a series of 3 messages called "The Cults of Lee's Summit." I'm taking on this topic because recently it has come to my attention that cults have been actively recruiting in our community.

They use deceptive techniques to recruit Christians to join their groups. The three cult groups that seem to have the greatest impact in Lee's Summit are The Mormons, The Jehovah's Witnesses and The Unitarians.

Many of them are very nice and sincere and really believe their cult founder's teachings wholeheartedly. However, nice and sincere and calling yourself a Christian is not how God defines what being a true Christian is.

The goal is not to bash any group but to give you the tools to defend your Christian faith against these cult teachings. So make sure you are here for "The Cults of Lee's Summit" Series on July 11th, 18th, and 25th.
